Grandpa's place is a 150year-old stone built house, located in the traditional , unchanged over time village of Lagoudi. It is situated quite high on the hills and overlooks the plain, the Tigkaki Salt Pan. Behind it, the mount Dikaios range of mountains is quite an overwhelming sight. The village is surrounded by enchanting landscape full of lush greenery and vast plantation while it retains much of its rural character.
